Just a delicious recipe I threw together awhile back, when needing something to go with my newest corn bread recipe! So easy, yet amazing taste! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey or beef...i used turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 - med green pepper, chopped
  • 1-15 ounce each - pinto beans & chili beans - drain just the pintos
  • 1 - 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 - 1 pounds can plum tomatoes with basil - smashed with fingers
  • 1-15 ounce wolf brand canned chili with meat and no beans ..
  • 2-3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon each, dried onion & dried garlic

How To Make ~ it's chilly chili ~

  • Step 1
    In a dutch oven, saute onion, pepper and meat together, breaking apart meat as it browns. Cook until no pink left in meat and veggies are tender. Add all remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly. Simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2
