beef stew meat (cut into smaller pieces)
2 lb
ground sirloin
2 can(s)
bush's chili beans
1-2 clove
garlic minced
2 can(s)
15 oz tomato sauce plus two cans water using tomato sauce cans
1 pkg
williams original chili seasoning (or hot if you desire)
4 dash(es)
cayenne pepper
2-4 tsp
tabasco chipotle pepper sauce
1 tsp
ground black pepper
1/8 tsp
ground cumin
1 tsp
kosher salt
1 small
yellow onion into small pieces (or grate if you prefer)
1 pkg
shredded cheddar cheese
sour cream

How to Make Heather's "Hot Mama" Chili


  • 1Brown and drain stew meat and hamburger meat separately and add to stock pot.
  • 2Add minced garlic to meats while hot to infuse the garlic flavor.
  • 3Next, add two cans of chili beans(not drained), tomato sauce plus 2 cans of water, onion, dry seasonings and stir into mixture. Cook on low heat for 2 hours or....transfer mixture to crock pot and slow cook for 6-8 hours. Make sure to keep checking liquid level and add water as necessary.
  • 4Serve with options of cheese, crackers, and sour cream.
