Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 small green pepper, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic, minced)
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumiin
- 2 1/2 cups v8 vegetable juice
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
How To Make hearty vegetarian chili

Step 1In large saucepan over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and cumin and cook until vegetables are tender. Add vegetable juice. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook 5 minutes. Add beans and heat through.
