I love green chili but I don't eat pork so I created this so any vegetarian could enjoy green chili. Not sure how many this serves

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 3/4-1 cup flour
- 32 ounces canned chicken broth
- 2 cups chicken bouillon made from the powder kind
- 1 - bag frozen green chilies
- 4 ounces canned chopped jalapenos...plus this can of water
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried cilantro flakes
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper...desired amount. i use about 1 tsp
- - garlic salt/powder...desired amount
- - onion powder...desired amount
How To Make green chili vegetarian style

Step 1Melt butter in a large wok like skillet. Stir in the flour until well blended. Whisk in the broth until smooth. Add all other ingredients.

Step 2Bring to a soft boil. Stir often! Lower heat and Simmer for a while... and serve. I like to simmer for about 2 hours, but you don't have to if you're pressed for time.
