2 cleft over meat: cooked prime rib or pork
1med onion chopped
2 can(s)whole green chilis
1 pkgbrown gravy mix
1 1/2 Tbspcumin
1/2 tspgarlic salt
2 - 3 cwater to cover
·garnish: sour cream, green onions, cheddar cheese
How to Make Green Chili
- Toss leftover meat into crock pot. Chop onion & green chili's add to crock pot. Seasonings, & water. Simmer on low for a few hours.
- Make gravy per package instructions. Let cool, in separate bowl scramble egg, add egg to cool gravy. Ladle warm green chili mixture to gravy, this allows gravy/egg mixture to temper. Stir. Add mixture to Crock pot. Serve when ready.
