Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    left over meat: cooked prime rib or pork
  • 1
    med onion chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    whole green chilis
  • 1 pkg
    brown gravy mix
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 2 - 3 c
    water to cover
  • ·
    garnish: sour cream, green onions, cheddar cheese

How to Make Green Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. Toss leftover meat into crock pot. Chop onion & green chili's add to crock pot. Seasonings, & water. Simmer on low for a few hours.
  2. Make gravy per package instructions. Let cool, in separate bowl scramble egg, add egg to cool gravy. Ladle warm green chili mixture to gravy, this allows gravy/egg mixture to temper. Stir. Add mixture to Crock pot. Serve when ready.
