our family love this chili as well as the chili beans the next day.... Chili is great to take to cookouts in a crockpot....and easy to reheat and serve.....You will totally love it!!!

prep time 30 Min
cook time 1 Hr
method Stove Top
yield 10-15 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cans manwich
  • 1 can rotel tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt and pepper (each)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 can tomato paste (small can)
  • 1 can bunker hill chili "no beans"
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 small onion

How To Make grannie's best ever chili!

  • Step 1
Brown meats and add chopped onion. Cook until onion is translucent and meats are done.....drain well (NOTE: I use a colander and drain then I let it stand in colander for about 5 more minutes just to remove as much grease as possible [but DO NOT rinse!] ...then return to same pan and continue to follow remaining instructions.)
  • Step 2
add all canned ingredients and Worcestershire sauce
  • Step 3
    add all dry measurements
  • Step 4
cook slowly until good chili consistency on stovetop or put in crockpot and slow cook until ready to serve
  • Step 5
serve with hot dogs, hamburgers, and if any left over for next day...add kidney beans, heat and serve with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese and jalapeno slices. Also slices of Texas toast or French bread.....
