baked beans w/bacon & brown sugar
15.5 oz. can(s)
garbanzos, drained
15.5 oz. can(s)
kidney beans, drained
15.5 oz. can(s)
wax beans, drained
15.5 oz. can(s)
green beans, drained
1 medium
sweet onion, diced
1 lb
bacon, diced
1 c
ketchup
1/4 c
soy sauce
1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Tbsp
worchestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
chili powder

How to Make Football Beans

Step-by-Step

  • 1Fry diced bacon until crisp, remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Reserve 2 tbsp. of the bacon fat; saute onion in the bacon fat until translucent.
  • 2Empty beans into crockpot. Stir in bacon, onion, ketchp, soy sauce, brown sugar and worchestershire sauce. Cook on high for 1 hour.
  • 3Serve.
