This chili has a nice kick to it and is so good and satisfying..I make this several times through out the year. Its a must for our Super Bowl Parties!! We always add frito's and shredded chz to top it off. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • CHILI
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 2 cans (15-1/2 oz) hot chili beans
  • 1 jar (16 oz) salsa
  • 1 can (16 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced, fire roasted tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 to 1/2 teaspoons chili powder, depending on taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, depending on taste
  • TOPPINGS
  • - corn chips
  • - cheese, shredded

How To Make family's favorite chili

  • Step 1
    In a soup kettle or Dutch oven cook meat; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Serve with toppings if desired.
