Family's Favorite Chili

This chili has a nice kick to it and is so good and satisfying..I make this several times through out the year. Its a must for our Super Bowl Parties!! We always add frito's and shredded chz to top it off. Enjoy!

    pork sausage
  • 1 lb
    ground beef or turkey
  • 2 can(s)
    (15-1/2 oz) hot chili beans
  • 1 jar(s)
    (16 oz) salsa
  • 1 can(s)
    (16 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can(s)
    (15 oz) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can(s)
    (14 1/2 oz) diced, fire roasted tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 8 oz
    velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 to 1/2 tsp
    chili powder, depending on taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper, depending on taste

    cheese, shredded

How to Make Family's Favorite Chili


  1. In a soup kettle or Dutch oven cook meat; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. Serve with toppings if desired.
