Ingredients
- 4 ounces flour
- 1/2 pound margarine
- 1 each - onion, diced
- 2 cups green chili, chopped
- 1/2 gallon milk
- 1 quart sour cream
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup chicken base, diluted
- 2 pounds chicken meat, cubed
- 1 quart heavy cream
How To Make cream of chicken and green chili soup

Step 1One pot method.

Step 2Using a thick, heavy stockpot, saute onion, and green chili in margarine, add flour.

Step 3Heat milk, then add the sour cream, diluted chicken base, chicken, and spices.

Step 4Add heavy cream and chicken.

Step 5Add to step #1. Heat. NOTE: May need to thicken with cornstarch.
