Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, cold
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1-2 tablespoon minced cilantro
- 1/2 cup milk
How To Make cornmeal-cilantro dumplings

Step 1One hour before your stew or chili of choice is finished cooking, turn crock pot to high.

Step 2Mix flour, cornmeal, backing powder and salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry cutter or two kniveds until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese and cilantro. Pour in milk. Blend just until dry ingredients are moistend.

Step 3Drop dumplings by tablespoonfuls onto top of stew or chili. Cover and cook 1 hour or until knife inserted in dumplings comes out clean.
