A good family recipe from years ago that mom would make!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground round beef
  • 1 can kidney beans, with juice
  • 1 pint tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2-1 tablespoon unbleached white flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make chili

  • Step 1
    Brown ground round beef (this can be done on the stove, in a crock pot, or in microwave) and drain. Add kidney beans with juice and tomatoes, without juice.
  • Step 2
    Mix together dry ingredients; add to beef mixture. This can be made in a crock pot and simmer on 'low'. This freezes well.
