The Touchdown Tale, Everyone has a goal in mind. My goal was to create a popular food that many men love and make it appeal to everyone. Kids will even love the mini footballs. If you want to score big then dig in to the chili and have fun outside and inside of the bun. Grab your pom-poms and hand them to your guests to cheer you on as you display your "Chili-Tizers" A.K.A. (little kicks). You intercepted and scored a touchdown, now treat yourself right with this tail-gate party delight.

Brown hamburger in a large skillet, drain grease and add the hamburger into the slow cooker.

Add all remaining ingredients except eggs, sour cream, cheese and chives. Put slow cooker on low for 1-1/2 hours.
  • Step 4
During the 2 hours hard cook the eggs by boiling them in water for twenty minutes. Remove the pot where the eggs are in and put them under cold running water for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
Peel eggs. Cut the eggs in half-lengthwise and remove cooked yolk. Set yolk aside for another use.
  • Step 6
After the chili has reached the cook time of 1-1/2 hours drop spoonfuls into egg holes. Decorate the eggs to look like little footballs with cheese.
  • Step 7
Use sour cream and chives as an optional side for chili that is leftover. You can even serve the chili on buns.
