Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can stewed tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 can V8 Bloody Mary mix (8 oz)
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- salt and pepper
- 5 fat hot dogs, sliced
- 1 clove chili beans
- sour cream, for serving
How To Make chili dog chili

Step 1Add the oil to a large pot. Sauté the onions, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.

Step 2Add the stewed tomatoes, Bloody Mary mix, chili powder, cumin, and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer. Simmer about 10 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat and with an immersion blender blend to a smooth chili.

Step 4Add the hot dogs and chili beans. Cook 5 minutes. taste and adjust for salt and pepper.
