This is a very tasty appetizer! It would also be great served alongside a bowl of your favorite soup. Next time I make this I'm going to try it with sliced jalapenos on top for an extra kick!

1 lbGrated Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses

8 ozChunky red medium/hot salsa like Herdez
How to Make Chili Cheese Bread
- Slice fresh French bread loaf in half lengthwise.
- Grate cheeses together, shred the chicken, and mix together with softened butter and salsa.
- Spread very chunky mixture on cut sides of the loaf, place separately on a cookie sheet.
- Bake 350 degrees until cheese has melted and serve hot and bubbly, sliced about 2 inches wide on a wooden cutting board.
