Ingredients
- 1 - loaf French bread
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 1/2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 2 cans chunk white chicken (12.5 oz each)
- 8 ounces chunky red medium/hot salsa, like Herdez
How To Make chili cheese bread

Step 1Slice fresh French bread loaf in half lengthwise. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Drain and shred the chicken.

Step 3Mix together the chicken, grated cheese, softened butter, and salsa.

Step 4Spread the chunky mixture on the cut sides of the loaf. Place separately on a cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake until the cheese has melted (about 30 - 35 minutes)

Step 6Slice into 2-inch pieces and serve hot.
