This is a mild chili, but you can spice it up per your taste. To make smaller pot I use only 1 lb ground beef, 1 can less of diced tomatoes and beans. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 can(s)
    rotelle tomatoes
  • 2 can(s)
    diced tomatoes w/ onions/green peppers
  • 1 can(s)
    tomatoe paste, small
  • 2 can(s)
    chili beans (i use mild, but whatever floats your boat)
  • 1/2 bottle
    beer
  • 1/2
    sweet onion, chopped
  • 2-3 tsp
    chili powder, or to taste
  • 1 clove
    garlic

How to Make Chili a la Green's

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef and drain well. Place in cook pot and add onions, canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and beer. Cook for one hour.
  2. Add chili beans and simmer for another hour.
  3. Serve with grated cheese, taco chips, onions, sour cream, etc. Your choice.
