Can be cooked stovetop or in slow cooker. You can control the heat by the amount of peppers that you add to the chili.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped finely
  • 3 medium jalapeno peppers, diced finely
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • - garlic salt, to taste
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces)
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can soup can of water
  • 2 cans red beans (16 oz), drained
  • 2 cans red kidney beans (16 oz)
  • 1 quart tomatoes (diced)

How To Make chili

  • Step 1
    Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic seasoned with the salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
  • Step 2
    Add the tomato sauce, tomato soup, water, red beans, kidney beans, tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers.
  • Step 3
    Stir. Cook slowly - the longer the better - but at least 3 to 4 hours. As it is cooking, make sure to degrease.
  • Step 4
    Enjoy - with your choice of crackers. I also like to add chopped raw onions and shredded cheddar cheese to my bowl - yummy!
