- 3 cloves garlic, chopped finely
- 3 medium jalapeno peppers, diced finely
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- - garlic salt, to taste
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces)
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can soup can of water
- 2 cans red beans (16 oz), drained
- 2 cans red kidney beans (16 oz)
- 1 quart tomatoes (diced)
How To Make chili
-
Step 1Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic seasoned with the salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
-
Step 2Add the tomato sauce, tomato soup, water, red beans, kidney beans, tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers.
-
Step 3Stir. Cook slowly - the longer the better - but at least 3 to 4 hours. As it is cooking, make sure to degrease.
-
Step 4Enjoy - with your choice of crackers. I also like to add chopped raw onions and shredded cheddar cheese to my bowl - yummy!
