Ingredients

  • 6 - boneless chicken breasts, boiled
  • 1 - medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups reserved chicken broth
  • 38 ounces canned white kidney beans (drained)
  • 2 small cans chopped green chiles
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

How To Make chicken and white bean chili

  • Step 1
    Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.
  • Step 2
    Saute chopped onion in small amount of oil.
  • Step 3
    Add chicken and onion to chicken broth.
  • Step 4
    Add chiles and all seasonings.
  • Step 5
    Cook on low heat 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Stir in kidney beans and sour cream.
  • Step 7
    Continue cooking another 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Serve topped with shredded monterey jack cheese and crushed tortilla chips.
