onion, chopped
1 clove
garlic, minced
1 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
19 oz
black bean soup
14 1/2 oz
fire roasted tomatoes, canned
8 3/4 oz
corn, canned
1/4 c
1/4 tsp
crushed red pepper flakes
1/3 c
green onions, sliced
sour cream

How to Make Black Bean Chili Chowder


  • 1In a large saucepan, saute onions in olive oil for a couple of minutes, add garlic and saute another couple of minutes.
  • 2Add soup, tomatoes, corn, 1/2 of the green onions, red pepper flakes and salsa; bring to boil.
  • 3Reduce heat to medium; cook 3 minutes.
  • 4Serve with a dollop of sour cream and reserved green onions.
