Ingredients For bewitching chili

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    garlic clove, minced
  • 1 32-oz can
    tomato juice
  • 1 15-oz can
    hot chili beans, undrained
  • 1 14-oz can
    diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 10-oz can
    condensed beef broth, undiluted
  • 1 6-oz can
    tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • sour cream

How To Make bewitching chili

    In a Dutch oven, cook beef, peppers, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.

    Stir in tomato juice, beans, tomatoes, broth, tomato paste and seasonings; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Serve in Cauldron Bread Bowls (see recipe) if desired. Garnish with sour cream.
