berry glazed meatballs

This is a great & yummy meat appetizer. Its fun to make with the kids. They can get their hands drity & feel part of the party.

Ingredients

  • - meatballs:
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
  • - sauce:
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 1/2 can cranberry sauce, jellied

How To Make berry glazed meatballs

  • Step 1
    Heat the oven to 375F. In a large bowl mix the meatball ingredients until well mixed. Then shpae into 1 inch balls. Place on an ungreased 15x10x1 inch pan or cookie sheet.
  • Step 2
    Then bake for about 25 to 30 mins or until meatballs are fully cooked & no longer pink on the inside.
  • Step 3
    In the mean time.In a3 quart saucepan or large pot stir together the sacue ingredients until well blended. Heat to a boil over medium heat. Then reduce the eat to low & simmer for about 5 mins. Make sure to stir occasionally.
  • Step 4
    Thread the cranberries on a toothpick as a garnish, stick the toothpick in each meatballs to serve.
