5 Star Chili

Kimi Gaines

When I went to make my chili this past weekend, I did not have all my ingredients so I just started dumping what I had in the cupboard. My husband and son told me this was the best chili I have ever made. I have to say it received 5 stars for this girl. I had 2 bowls which I never do..we all ended up eating 3 bowls each.

How to Make 5 Star Chili

  • 1In stock pot on high brown the ground beef and onion & peppers. Add seasonings to meat.
  • 2Add all tomato products, then all beans. Add the taco seasoning. I taste as I go so I usually add more of the seasonings till I get it to my liking.
  • 3Cook on medium for and hr, then turn down to low and cook till flavors are just right.
  • 4You can add toppings such as cheese, sour cream, pour over a salad with nachos. We ate ours plain with bread.
