Ingredients
- 4 pounds chicken bones
- 1 head of garlic broken up but unpeeled
- 5 ribs celery rough chop
- 2 leeks rough chop
- 2 onions rough chop
- 2 large carrots rough chop
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 sprigs rosemary
- 5 sprigs parsley
- 5 sprigs thyme
- 10 pints water
- 1/4 cup salt
How To Make the best homemade chicken stock

Step 1Place all ingredients in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a low and let the stock simmer 4 hours. Skimming as needed. Add more water if stock gets to low or to concentrated.

Step 2Strain the stock through a fine mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth. Let cool completely. Can be frozen for up to 3 months
