Ingredients

  • 32 ounces chicken broth, condensed
  • 3 ounces oriental noodles, chicken flavor, broken-up
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper, ground
  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 2 medium apples, chopped
  • 6 ounces pea pods, frozen and cut up
  • 4 - green onions, diagonally cut

How To Make szechwan chicken soup

  • Step 1
    In a large saucepan or dutch oven stir together chicken broth, noodles and flavoring packet, red pepper, and 3 soup cans (3 3/4 cups) water.
  • Step 2
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  • Step 3
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Step 5
    Return to boiling.
  • Step 6
    Serve at once.
