red pepper, ground

chicken, cooked and cubed

apples, chopped

pea pods, frozen and cut up
green onions, diagonally cut

How to Make Szechwan Chicken Soup


  • 1In a large saucepan or dutch oven stir together chicken broth, noodles and flavoring packet, red pepper, and 3 soup cans (3 3/4 cups) water.
  • 2Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  • 3Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 4Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 5Return to boiling.
  • 6Serve at once.
