Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 2 boneless chicken thighs cut into chunks
- 1 cup peeled deveined shrimp
- 1/2 cup each shredded carrots, & sliced shiitake
- 1/2 cup cubed firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
- 1 cup sweet and sour sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon white pepper & sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon potato starch
- 4 tablespoons water
- chives for garnish
How To Make sweet & sour soup

Step 1Add the chicken stock to a large pot. Bring to a boil, add the chicken pieces, shiitake, carrots, and tofu. Simmer 3 minutes. Add the black bean sauce, sweet and sour sauce and vinegar. Cook 1 minute. Add the shrimp and bring to a boil

Step 2Slowly drizzle in the beaten eggs while stirring constantly. Mix the potato starch with the water and then mix into the soup to thicken

Step 3Add the white pepper and sesame oil. Top with chives for garnish
