This recipe is a family fav! I like to do my own thing when it comes to soup. I was looking though my frigde and the ingredients were just there....and I tried it! It was welll worth it!

Ingredients
- 1 - rotisserie chicken, precooked and store bought r the best!
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 medium purple onion, chopped
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 - carrot, diced small
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 teaspoons salt and pepper, each
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 1/2 cups egg noodles, uncooked, the smaller the better
How To Make quick creamy chicken noodle soup

Step 1Saute onion, bell pepper, and garlic in a skillet with the butter and olive oil until tender.

Step 2Add milk and cream cheese. Cook until cheese is melted into mixture.

Step 3Debone chicken and use as much meat as you want. If there are big peices you can chop them up or pull it apart.

Step 4In a dutch oven, combine chicken broth, chicken, veggie mixture, and seasonings. Stir until it is mixed well.

Step 5Let soup simmer on medium/low for about 30 minutes to an hour.

Step 6Add noodles and cook for another 15 minutes.

Step 7If desired, you can garnish with some fresh chopped parsley or some shredded carrots. ENJOY!
