Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken bones
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large carrot, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 7 sprigs thyme
  • 7 sprigs parsley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns

How To Make pressure cooked chicken bone broth

  • Step 1
    Place the chicken bones, celery, onion and carrot on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and roast for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and place in an Instant Pot.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients to the Instant Pot and add water to the fill line. Secure the lid and pressure cook 4 hours. Natural release then remove the lid.
  • Step 3
    Strain discarding solids. Cheese cloth is the best for getting a clear soup.
