Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (cooked)
- 2 sticks celery (diced)
- 2 - carrots (sliced)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 32 ounces chicken broth, low salt
- 1 large lemon
- 2 tablespoons flour
How To Make lemon chicken orzo soup

Step 1Cook chicken in water in stock pot until tender.

Step 2Cut up cooked chicken, and return to stock pot.

Step 3Add chicken broth.

Step 4Saute celery, carrots, onion, and garlic in butter in small sauce pan. Saute until tender.

Step 5Add spices to chicken broth mixture.

Step 6Add orzo.

Step 7Add lemon juice.

Step 8Add flour, and cook on low heat for about 45 minutes.
