This is an easy soup to make and tastes delicious. Especially good when it's a rainy or cold wintry day. Freezes well.

Ingredients For easy chicken chowder

  • 2 c
    chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 can
    cream of potato soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    mexican style corn
  • 1 can
    chopped green chiles
  • 1 (4 oz) can
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c
    sliced green onions

How To Make easy chicken chowder

  • 1
    Combine chicken, potato soup, chicken soup, corn, green chiles, mushrooms, milk and chicken broth in stockpot. Cook over medium heat for 5-8 min, heating thoroughly, and stirring occasionally.

    Remove from heat. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Ladle into soup bowls. Garnish with green onions, optional. Yield: 8 servings
