bacon, cut in pieces
2 Tbsp
onion, diced/minced
1 can(s)
cream of potato soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 can(s)
milk (measured in emptied soup can)
1 can(s)
cooked wild rice, drained
2 c
cooked chicken, cubed (rotisserie chicken works well)
1 bag(s)
shredded carrots
4 oz
velveeta cheese, cubed
black pepper (to taste)
italian seasoning (to taste)

How to Make Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup


  • 1Brown and crisp bacon in pan with onion; drain.
  • 2Boil or steam carrots to soften them.
  • 3Add all ingredients to a large pot. Stir, combine, and heat (don't boil) to melt cheese. You can add more or less cheese to taste.
  • 4You can also put all ingredients into a crock pot instead of doing it on the stovetop. This recipe doubles very easily.
