Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup
9 ozfully cooked chicken strips (precooked tyson grilled is what i use)
6.2 ozuncle ben's long grain & wild rice fast recipe
1 1/2 cchicken broth
1/2 cdiced carrot
1/2 cdiced celery
1/2 cdiced onion
1 tspminced garlic
1 1/2 Tbspcold water
How to Make Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup
- Cut the precooked chicken into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces. Set aside.
- Prepare rice according to package directions. Be sure to include seasoning packet.
- Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add carrots, celery, onion and garlic. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add chicken to saucepan and simmer until chicken is heated through. Add prepared rice to chicken mixture; stir in milk and return to low simmer.
