Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup ls chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup skim/lf milk
  • 1 teaspoon better than bouillon (http://www.betterthanbouillon.com)
  • - salt & pepper to taste

How To Make cream of chicken soup (so much better than canned)

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Step 2
    Stir in flour; keep stirring until smooth and bubbly.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat and add the chicken broth and milk, a little at a time, stirring to keep smooth.
  • Step 4
    Return to heat. Bring sauce to a gentle boil; cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
