  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 8 1/4 ounces cream-style corn
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 - egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

How To Make chinese chicken corn soup

  • Step 1
    Combine chicken broth, corn and chicken pieces in a large saucepan.
  • Step 2
    Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    Blend cornstarch with cold water and add to soup.
  • Step 4
    Continue cooking, uncoverd, for 3 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Beat egg whites untill foamy; stir into soup.
  • Step 6
    Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until foamy.
  • Step 7
    Ladle soup into individual bowls and garnish with parsley.
  • Step 8
    Serve hot.
