chicken broth
8 1/4 oz
cream-style corn
1 c
cooked chicken, diced
1 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
cold water
egg whites
2 Tbsp
fresh parsley, minced

How to Make Chinese Chicken Corn Soup


  • 1Combine chicken broth, corn and chicken pieces in a large saucepan.
  • 2Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 3Blend cornstarch with cold water and add to soup.
  • 4Continue cooking, uncoverd, for 3 minutes.
  • 5Beat egg whites untill foamy; stir into soup.
  • 6Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until foamy.
  • 7Ladle soup into individual bowls and garnish with parsley.
  • 8Serve hot.
