Melt butter in skillet. Add diced onion and cook till softened. Add green chile's, canned tomatoes and taco seasoning. Mix well. Empty skillet into soup pot.
In same skillet, cook chicken breast in small amount of butter. Cube or shred chicken when cooked. Add to soup pot.
In large pot add cooked chicken, mixture, broth and corn and cook for 30 minutes on medium low.
If desired, add cilantro, nacho chips, sour cream, mozzarella cheese or avocado at serving time.
