I saw a recipe for this soup but it had ingredients that I could not have because of dietary restrictions. So I created this one and I must say, it does not last in our house. Great with homemade rolls. My husband can't get enough of it!

    chicken broth
  • 3 c
  • 1 lb
    boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 c
    frozen peas
  • 2 c
    baby carrots
  • 12 oz
    frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Chicken Tortellini Soup


  1. In large dutch oven, bring broth and water to boil; add cubed chicken. Reduce heat; cook for 10-20 minutes.
  2. Add rest of ingredients; cook 10-15 minutes longer or until chicken is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.
  3. Makes 8-10 servings.
