    tomatoes, canned
  • 1 c
    mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 1/3 c
    macaroni, dry
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • ·
    "just a pinch" of pepper
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1 c
    chicken stock
  • 3/4 c
    chicken, cooked and chopped

How to Make Chicken Macaroni Stew


  1. Break up large pieces of tomatoes.
  2. Place all ingredients except chicken into saucepan; Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, until macaroni is tender--about 15 minutes - Stir several times to prevent macaroni from sticking.
  4. Add chicken and heat to serving temperature.
  5. Remove bay leaf.
