Ingredients

  • 8 ounces tomatoes, canned
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 1/3 cup macaroni, dry
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 3/4 cup chicken, cooked and chopped

How To Make chicken macaroni stew

  • Step 1
    Break up large pieces of tomatoes.
  • Step 2
    Place all ingredients except chicken into saucepan; Bring to a boil.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, until macaroni is tender--about 15 minutes - Stir several times to prevent macaroni from sticking.
  • Step 4
    Add chicken and heat to serving temperature.
  • Step 5
    Remove bay leaf.
