Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, diced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons instant bouillon
  • 2 cups broccoli flowerets
  • 2 cups carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • - "just a pinch" of salt

How To Make chicken country soup

  • Step 1
    In a large kettle or dutch oven, brown chicken in oil.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  • Step 4
    Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
