Ingredients
- 1 - chicken, cut up
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 16 ounces corn, undrained
- 16 ounces tomatoes, canned whole, drained and cut up
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How To Make chicken, corn and tomato chowder

Step 1In a large saucepan, simmer the chicken in 4 cups with onion and poultry seasoning for 45 minutes.

Step 2Remove chicken and let cool; reserve the broth.

Step 3Skim fat from chicken broth.

Step 4Remove meat from chicken; discard skin and bones and cut meat into bite-size pieces.

Step 5In a large non-aluminum saucepan, combine chicken, chicken broth, corn, tomatoes and lemon juice; simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 6Season with salt and pepper to taste.
