    broth
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    shredded sharp cheese

How to Make Chicken Cheese Soup For One

Step-by-Step

  1. Simmer chicken until tender.
  2. Remove chicken, cool and dice.
  3. Boil broth uncovered until reduced to one cup.
  4. Add onion, carrots and celery. Simmer until tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Gradually stir in soup and milk.
  6. Add chicken and cheese; heat and stir until cheese melts.
  7. Garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
