chicken and dumplins

You can use any kind of chicken. I perfer to just buy a rotisserie chicken from walmart when I'm out. I think the seasons of the rotisserie chicken bring alot of flavor to this soup!

Ingredients

  • 3 large celery sticks chopped
  • 2 large whole carrots chopped
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon potultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cups bisquick baking mix

How To Make chicken and dumplins

  • Step 1
    Spray pot with cooking non-stick spray. Saute chopped celery and carrots on med-high heat for 6 minutes. Stir in broth, poultry season, and pepper. Bring to boil
  • Step 2
    Stir together bisquick mix and milk untill blended. Turn dough out onto a heavily floured surface. Roll or pat dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
  • Step 3
    Drop dumplins one at a time into boling broth. Stir in chicken. Cover, reduce heat, simmer 8 minutes. Stir occasionally untill dumplins are cooked.
