You can use any kind of chicken. I perfer to just buy a rotisserie chicken from walmart when I'm out. I think the seasons of the rotisserie chicken bring alot of flavor to this soup!

  • 3 large
    celery sticks chopped
  • 2 large
    whole carrots chopped
  • 8 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp
    potultry seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2/3 c
  • 3 c
    chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 c
    bisquick baking mix

How to Make Chicken and Dumplins


  1. Spray pot with cooking non-stick spray. Saute chopped celery and carrots on med-high heat for 6 minutes. Stir in broth, poultry season, and pepper. Bring to boil
  2. Stir together bisquick mix and milk untill blended. Turn dough out onto a heavily floured surface. Roll or pat dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Drop dumplins one at a time into boling broth. Stir in chicken. Cover, reduce heat, simmer 8 minutes. Stir occasionally untill dumplins are cooked.
