Ingredients
- 1 - onion
- 2 - stalks of celery
- 1 can corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 - cloves minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chicken base
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 tablespoons cold butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup whole milk
How To Make chicken and dumplings

Step 1dice celery, onion. saute in the 2 T of butter. Add the garlic, add a little salt and pepper. When they are soft add 2 T. of flour. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2Add the chicken broth, chicken, salt, pepper, chicken base, corn, milk, herbs.While this is on simmer, make the dumplings.

Step 3Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt. Add the butter cut into small chunks. Mix until it looks like small crumbles. Add the water. Work into a dough. Put onto a floured surface and roll out. Cut into whatever shapes you like. Drop into a hot almost boiling soup.
