I found this recipe years a go in a newspaper from a Marsha Baker of Ohio my son told me no one is going to eat that after he seen the picture well guess what everyone loves this soup it's good and comforting, for people who don't feel well even , easy on the stomach it can easily be turned into a broccoli soup hope you enjoy it like we do . Cause I have family who competes when it comes to cooking so it better be good or it isn't made again ;0)

Ingredients For cheesy chicken chowder

2 (14oz.) canreduced sodium chicken broth

2 cdiced peeled potatoes
-
1 cdiced carrots
-
1 cdiced celery
-
1/2 cdiced white onion
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1/4 cbutter
-
1/3 call purpose flour
-
2 c2% milk
-
2 cshredded cheddar cheese
-
2 cdiced or shredded chicken
How To Make cheesy chicken chowder

1Bring chicken broth to a boil in a large sauce pan. Reduce heat. Add potatoes,carrots,celery,onion, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender about 15 minutes.

2Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add flour and mix well. Gradually stir in milk and cook over low heat until slightly thickened. Stir in cheese and cook until mixed. Add cheese mixture to broth and vegetables along with chicken. Cook and stir over low heat until thoroughly heated.

3Serve right away with fresh French or Italian bread
