Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked
  • 1 - onion chopped
  • 4 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can corn, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cups half and half
  • 1 1/2 cups bisquick
  • 1 cup milk

How To Make bacon chicken and dumplings

  • Step 1
    COOK BACON TILL CRISPY AND SET ASIDE. WHEN COOL CRUMBLE.
  • Step 2
    ADD POTATOES, CHICKEN AND ONION TO BACON DRIPPINGS AND COOK FOR 15 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. POUR IN CHICKEN BROTH; SEASON WITH POULTRY SEASONING AND SALT & PEPPER. STIR IN CORN, AND SIMMER FOR 15 MIN.

    pOUR IN HALF AND HALF AND BRING TO A BOIL; ADD BACON. COMBINE BISQUICK WITH MILK AND MIX WELL (DOUGH SHOULD BE THICK). dROP BY TABLESPOONS INTO BOILING MIXTURE, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES COVERED. ****NOTE-DO NOT STIR WHILE SIMMERING, DUMPLINGS WILL FALL APART..
