the best hamburger soup

I found this soup in an old softcover Pillsbury cookbook almost 30 years ago...the book is long gone but this recipe is awesome!! I always get surprised looks after the first taste .....not what you'd expect and I always get asked for the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 cans 10 1/4 0z each tomato soup
- 1 can 10 1/4 oz mushroom soup
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon powder
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1/2 teaspoon or up to 1 tsp marjoram leaves, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Step 1Brown beef in a dutch oven with the onions and celery...drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer over low heat until carrots are tender and soup is heated thoroughly...approx 15 mins. I also love that has no added salt and is only 190 calories per cup!! This is one of my favorite soups. So good with my Easy Ranch Bread!
