So good! It is great with either Beer Bread, Corn Bread or Crackers.

1 lb
lean ground beef
1 lb
ground turkey
2 can(s)
ranch style beans with liquid
2 can(s)
dice tomatoes with liquid
2 can(s)
hominy with liquid (1 yellow, 1 white)
1 can(s)
1 pkg
taco seasoning
1 pkg
dry ranch dressing mix (1 envelope)


1Fry ground meats until done. Crumble meat while cooking. Drain meats and put in large soup pot.
Add all other ingredients with all liquids from cans. Stir well to dissolve powder dressing mix.
2Simmer 45 minutes to an hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Add water as needed.
3This is a very filling soup and leftovers freeze well. It makes lots of soup, so cooking in a large pot is important.

Hint: Use mild Rotel if you have kids because the taco seasoning will add plenty of heat.
