Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 - 15 oz can pinto beans, drained
- 1 - 16 oz can garbanzo beans
- 1 can hominy
- 1 - 16 oz can red kidney beans
- 4 - 14 oz cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 package taco seasoning (or 3 tbsp)
- 1 package ranch dressing mix

Step 1Saute the ground beef, onion and garlic in olive oil. After browned add and stir till well combined the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer for 45 minutes or longer.

Step 2Good served with tortilla chips, sour cream and cornbread.
