hamburger meat
2 c
diced onions

15 1/4 oz whole kernal corn
2 can(s)
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
1 can(s)
rotel tomatoes
2 can(s)
4 1/2 oz green chiles
2 can(s)
4 1/2 oz sliced, black olives
1/2 c
sliced green olives optional

taco seasoning mix
1 pkg
1 oz ranch dressing mix
fritos for serving
sour cream for garnish
grated cheese for garnish
chopped green onions for garnish

How to Make Taco Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown hamburger meat and onions in a large skillet, drain. Then transfer meat and onions to a large crockpot. Add corn, tomatoes, green chiles, black olives, green olives, taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or you can cook on stove on low for an hour or so. To serve, put corn chips in a bowl and ladle soup over them...add desired amount of shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. If you wish, you can top with green onions.
