Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or chuck
- 1/2 medium onion - finely chopped
- 1 large bunch of fresh cilantro - finely chopped
- 4-6 - jalapeno peppers - finely chopped
- 2 cans 15-16 oz cans kidney beans undrained
- 2 cans 14-15 oz. cans whole kernal corn undrained
- 1 can 15-16 oz. can black beans (optional)
- 2 cans 15 oz. cans tomato sauce
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
How To Make taco soup

Step 1Brown beef, drain; add onion, peppers, 1/2 of the cilantro and cook until onions and peppers start to get tender.

Step 2Mix everything together in a dutch oven OR crockpot.

Step 3Heat through in dutch oven for 45 min. - 1 hour OR in crockpot for 2-3 hours on low.

Step 4Top with shredded cheddar or colby-jack cheese, sour cream and corn tortilla chips crumbled like crackers.
