This is a wonderfully flavorful soup, perfect for a cold winter night. I serve it with tortilla chips and grated cheese on the side. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    yellow onion,diced
  • 1 can(s)
    pinto beans with jalopenos
  • 2 can(s)
    yellow hominy,drained
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans,drained
  • 1 can(s)
    green chiles,undrained
  • 2 can(s)
    diced tomatoes,undrained
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    rach dressing mix,dry powder

How to Make Taco Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the ground beef with the diced onion until cooked. Drain and add to crockpot.
  2. Add all other ingredients and stir well.
  3. Cook on Low for 8-10 hours. Don't rush it, as it will end up very runny and won't be near as good.
