cloves garlic, chopped
green pepper, diced

whole kernel corn, or use fresh/frozen corn
3 can(s)
black beans or kidney beans
1 pkg
taco seasoning
1 can(s)
southwestern tomatoes
3-4 can(s)
tomato sauce
1 can(s)
chopped tomatoes

How to Make Taco Soup


  • 1In a large pan or dutch oven, saute the ground beef, onion, garlic and green pepper with butter.
  • 2Drain corn; drain and rinse beans.
  • 3Add the corn, beans, taco seasoning, southwestern tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, and water to pan.
  • 4Adjust the amount of tomato sauce and water to preferred soup consistency.
  • 5Mix and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
