Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 - large onion, chopped
- 2 - cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 - green pepper, diced
- 3-4 tablespoons butter
- 1 can whole kernel corn, or use fresh/frozen corn
- 3 cans black beans or kidney beans
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 can southwestern tomatoes
- 3-4 cans tomato sauce
- 1 can chopped tomatoes

How To Make taco soup

Step 1In a large pan or dutch oven, saute the ground beef, onion, garlic and green pepper with butter.

Step 2Drain corn; drain and rinse beans.

Step 3Add the corn, beans, taco seasoning, southwestern tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, and water to pan.

Step 4Adjust the amount of tomato sauce and water to preferred soup consistency.

Step 5Mix and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
