Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1
large onion, chopped
2
cloves garlic, chopped
1
green pepper, diced
3-4 Tbsp
butter
1 can(s)
whole kernel corn, or use fresh/frozen corn
3 can(s)
black beans or kidney beans
1 pkg
taco seasoning
1 can(s)
southwestern tomatoes
3-4 can(s)
tomato sauce
1 can(s)
chopped tomatoes
water

Step-By-Step

1In a large pan or dutch oven, saute the ground beef, onion, garlic and green pepper with butter.
2Drain corn; drain and rinse beans.
3Add the corn, beans, taco seasoning, southwestern tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, and water to pan.
4Adjust the amount of tomato sauce and water to preferred soup consistency.
5Mix and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
