Ingredients

  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 package ranch dip seasoning
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 can rotel
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 can whole kernal corn canned, undrained
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pound hamburger meat

How To Make taco soup

  • Step 1
Open all the cans of beans and drain. Brown meat in a skillet. While it's cooking, mix together beans, corn, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, rotel, both packs of seasoning, and water. Stir well until both seasonings are dissolved. Let this simmer until meat is done. Once the meat is ready, remove from skillet and drain then add to the pot and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Reduce heat and cover for 30-45 minutes.
  • Step 2
Optional: chop 1 whole onion and cook with meat. Topping choices: sour cream, corn chips and/or grated cheese. If the soup is too spicy for your tastes try using mild rotel and mild taco seasoning.
